The New Park Curriculum

Our school curriculum is ambitious, inclusive, and bespoke to the needs of our children and community. All children develop a love of learning and an excitement and vision for their future. Our children secure the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to thrive at school, at home and in the community. We secure academic excellence through rigorous and innovative teaching of core curriculum subjects. Our bespoke project-based learning curriculum immerses children in the wider-world, giving them opportunities to solve real-world problems and work alongside adult experts.

The National Curriculum is the foundation for our curriculum, and we build on this using highly-effective methods of teaching and learning to ensure pupils know more, remember more and can do more week-by-week, year-on-year. Reading is at the heart of everything we do and permeates every aspect of school life. Planned projects place the wider curriculum in an accessible context for children and give all children the chance to learn from professionals and present their learning to the wider community. Children at New Park become passionate readers, confident writers and capable mathematicians, full of passion and hope for their futures.
