Our School

Pupil Assessment

From September 2015 all children at New Park moved to a new ‘Assessing without Levels’ system. The national expectation is that children work at Age Related Expectations (ARE). Simply put, children are assessed against the expectations for their year group and this is what is reported to parents. Your child's class teacher will be happy to discuss this further at parent consultations.

Our Learning Challenge curriculum structure will directly support us to deliver outstanding learning opportunities and skills building for your child towards achieving the new assessment criteria for their age.
